Meghan Trainor’s weight loss journey began after she started dating her now husband Daryl Sabara. Daryl really pushed Meghan to work out, eat healthily, and achieve her desired body. She shared,
“He really changed my life. He showed me how working out can be fun. I didn’t believe it, but now it’s true and it feels so good when you’re sore – I love that feeling now, I’m addicted to it.”
It’s really awesome how your loved ones can help you change into something that you never thought of. But why did Meghan feel like she needed to cut weight?
Well, she has a couple of reasons for her weight loss. After every marriage, almost everyone desires to have a pretty little baby. But she felt like her body was dragging her down towards her dream of building a family. She also felt like her eating habits could affect the health of the baby.
Meghan Trainor had a really bad eating habit. She used to eat all kinds of junk food. And throughout her transformation, she has decided t keep it as minimal as possible. With her giving birth to a sweet baby boy in February of 2021, she also wants to set an example for her children to eat healthily.
She further went on to share another reason for her weight loss,
“I just want to live forever, man. I wanna stay looking young forever. I stopped drinking and stopped doing anything bad to my face. I don’t want to deal with acne anymore – I’m 24, I’m over it, and I just want to live till I’m 106.”

“He cooks for me and taught me to cook. I never knew how to cook. He taught me, like, secrets how to make your food taste great but also be healthy for you.”
As for her workout, she trains with her husband almost every day. She was really depressed after her second vocal chord surgery as it can be devastating for a singer. That’s when her husband suggested that they work out. Since then, she has been quite regular, eating healthy and exercising as often as possible.
